LAMMA Show 2024 saw a successful launch of the Career Zone held by Jobs in Agriculture, bringing together a number of exhibitors with a common goal of helping people kickstart or grow their careers in farming, resulting in an incredible two-day event at the NEC Birmingham

The chief executive of the Institute for Agriculture and Horticulture, Stephen Jacob, said: "We need to influence the influences. If teachers and parents do not understand what the industry looks like and how food is produced, how are the children going to?"

Cambridgeshire farmer, Tom Martin, spoke about the importance of connecting with the consumer, and he highlighted the ‘Farmer Time' initiative as being a positive way of getting farming into the classroom
