A farmer was left feeling frustrated after somebody complained about a reversing beeper on a JCB loading shovel during silaging.
Steve Evans, who runs a family dairy farm in Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire shared his annoyance on social media after he said someone from the council had visited the farm to let him know that a noise complaint had been made.
Wow!!!!! Just had a visit from the council to say there's been a complaint about the reversing beeper on our @JCBagriculture 419. This complaint is from someone a mile away!!! Health and safety doesn't matter when Joe Public gets involved. @1GarethWynJones @JoeWStanley pic.twitter.com/r2ZYOeB0GA

He said: "The complaint is from someone a mile away. Health and safety does not matter when the public gets involved.
"The irony is that we have a neighbour no more than 100 yards away and never had anything wrong and there is a village within a 5 minute walk. If this is how the countryside is going to be from now on we are doomed."
