March 4: Exeter mart given green light to continue after foot-and-mouth scare and farmers march through London on Pancake Day
In today's Farming in Five, head of news and business Alex Black gives an update on the situation at Exeter livestock mart after an APHA incident caused it to cancel primestock sales on Monday. The mart has been given the green light to hold sales today after sheep purchased on Friday tested negative for both foot-and-mouth and bluetongue. It is Pancake Day and farmers are in London today, protesting the changes to Inheritance Tax and showcasing the work that goes into the ingredients needed for pancakes, as another Labour MP speaks out against the changes
