The average Brit throws out £450 of food a year, according to a survey of 3,000 people by electrical retailer AO.com

The survey found that the average weekly grocery shop is £85.72 a week, but 10% of that is thrown away. Fruit and veg are the most binned category, with consumers throwing them out at least once...
