In this Farmers Guardian podcast, we speak to the founders of British Pasture Leather.
British Pasture Leather is a new concept run by Alice Robinson and Sara Grady. Both are passionate about regenerative agriculture and the journey products take from the fields to the consumer.
This applies to fashion too, and in this case, leather.
Their aim is to supply leather made from hides of animals sourced from regenerative farms in the UK, the first business of its kind.
So, what is the market like? What can we learn from this relationship with farmers?
Fast fashion - just like fast food - has become the norm, but this setup hopes to showcase the true value of the supply chain and what it means to buy something you know everything about, from start to finish.
