A ‘drug-fuelled' tractor driver has been given an eight-week prison sentence after driving over the legal limit after his vehicle crushed a car on CCTV.

Tyler Sowerby was driving the tractor across the A1101 near RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk when he went over a Honda and crushed the vehicle.

However, the driver was not badly injured.

Mr Sowerby admitted careless driving and being unfit through drugs at Carlisle Magistrates' Court.

He was handed an eight-week suspended sentence and must perform 60 hours of unpaid work.
