You will be surrounded by people who are working together to make the world a better place.The RoleAs the Executive Assistant, you will proactively support our Executive Director and Head of Policy.Joining a small team, you will strive to anticipate and resolve issues as they arise and handle multiple priorities to ensure the smooth running of our office.Some of your duties will include:- Monitoring the Executive Directors emails and managing diaries- Handling telephone enquiries- Arranging appointments and organising travel- Undertaking small research projects as requested- Providing the secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Group for National Parks, including co-ordinating meetings, speakers, advertising and the production of notes- Handling our social media accounts- Maintaining the post, database, archiving and filing systemsAbout YouTo join us as an Executive Assistant, you will need:- Experience of working in a secretarial and/or administrative role, including note/minute taking which covers complex discussions- Previous experience of office administration, including managing diaries, email accounts, preparing correspondence and cost-effective purchasing- Experience of organising meetings and small events- Excellent IT skills, including the ability to use email, word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation packages effectively- A qualification in business administration/ICT or equivalent proven ability- Numeracy and literacy skills to GCSE levelIdeally, you will have an understanding of the context in which National Park Authorities operate.
