#Farm24: Farming industry takes over social media

Thousands of farmers and industry professionals have thrown their support behind the 2021 #Farm24 event.

Social media coverage of #Farm24 has exploded across all platforms including Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram.

Thanks to the efforts of thousands of farmers alongside the Prime Minister, celebrity chefs and athletes, 24 hours in Farming has trended at number 1 on Twitter earlier today.

The annual event is agriculture's largest digital event, and offers the general public a chance to understand what a typical day in farming might look like and where their food comes from.

Sponsored by Morrisons, farmers and industry professionals have embraced the opportunity to showcase all agricultural sectors during a time when public appreciation for food provenance and the countryside is at an all time high.

Follow all the activity on #Farm and #FarmingCAN. Here we take a look at some of the highlights so far.
