The scholarships help fund reserach into various agricultural related topics

The chief executive of the Institute for Agriculture and Horticulture, Stephen Jacob, said: "We need to influence the influences. If teachers and parents do not understand what the industry looks like and how food is produced, how are the children going to?"

The report highlighted Young Farmers' Clubs in Wales are important for skills, rural employment, Welsh language and the health and well-being of those living in the rural communities
