On August 1, 2024 Farmers Guardian, in partnership with Carter Jonas, brought together farmers and high-profile industry leaders in a webinar to discuss what they see as priorities for the new administration.
What does the industry want from the new Government? What are the sector's concerns? How does agriculture look in five years?
Farmers and those who work in the industry were able to ask their own questions to the guest speakers which included Patrick Holden, Sustainable Farming Trust, Minette Batters, House of Lords peer and former NFU President, John McCulloch, national chair of the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs (SAYFC) Agri and Rural Affairs Committee and Ed Barker, head of policy and external affairs at the Agricultural Industries Confederation.
