Farm Grants round-up: Which ones could benefit you?

Henry Clemons, an associate in rural consultancy at Knight Frank said he was still concerned by the 'limited scope of eligible items' and the 'discrepancy between the percentage paid and the actual costs' incurred by businesses when it comes to government grant funding.

With now 102 actions to choose from in the latest Sustainable Farming Incentive announcement, NFU senior countryside adviser Claire Robinson runs through what the latest options offer farmers.

Scotland's Farm Advisory Service runs through what grants are open to applications for Scottish farmers and crofters for the remainder of the year.

Laying hen and pullet farmers in England with flocks of 1,000 birds or more have until the end of June to get their application in for the new Defra hen housing grant.

Most reports include 'analysis of business financial performance and environmental opportunities, a business action plan, and identification of future income streams.' Consultant and owner of SRH Agribusiness Simon Haley said the Future Farming Resilience Fund was a 'valuable service and helpful resource' that would be missed if the new Government decides not to extend the support.
