Liz Fletcher's countryside style blog: Autumn style must haves

In a new monthly blog, Liz Fletcher, who farms in the Peak District with her husband Kelvin, tells us all about her favourite styles from some quintessential British country-based designers.

Autumn is my favourite season and as the weather starts to get a little cooler, it is my favourite time to reach for the classic jeans and shirt combination.

I usually go for a checked shirt but I have been loving the more preppy shirts this time round, matched with a pair of jeans.

It is such an easy outfit that can be layered with a gilet and wellies - or I like to team it up with a trainer when I am not on farm duties.

My go to brands? A Barbour or Schoffel gilet, and Le Chameau boots.
